We believe that the Bible is the fully inspired divine Word of God, and fully accept it as the supreme, infallible, all sufficient authority for faith and life.

We believe that God created all people in his own image – male and female – to be holy, pure and upright and to care for his creation. However, as a result of sin by choosing to not trust in the provision and promise of God the Father, mankind incurred the penalty of divine judgement which is death physically, spiritually and spending eternity in hell.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s eternal Son was begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary; fully God and fully man, yet sinless in his earthly ministry.

We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross. We believe in the justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, suffered and died for our sins on the cross, was buried, was raised in body on the third day, defeating evil and redeeming us through his blood, so reconciling us with God by creating in us a new life.

The experience of coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is also known as the new birth, and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit to empower and sustain the believer to endure and overcome to the end of his or her walk on earth, so to not be condemned by God’s eternal judgement, in order to enjoy eternal glory with God in heaven.

We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Living a life which produces the fruit of the Spirit.

An example of this, the Scriptures teach that the marriage covenant was ordained by God himself; for it to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman for the ultimate purpose of displaying the glory of God in the covenant-keeping love between Christ and His Church. The Bible teaches that the expression of human sexuality is limited to such a marital relationship only. 

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruit of our resurrection; in his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.

We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour are to be baptised by immersion in water as a normative part of becoming a disciple.

We believe in the ongoing ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, brings revelation of God’s Word, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.

We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church today.  We believe in the baptism and anointing of the Holy Spirit as the receiving of extraordinary power to the believer for Christ-exalting ministry and witness, of which the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is one of many signs in which the Holy Spirit works in and through a believer.

We believe in the Church, the body of Christ both local and universal to be given life and power by the Spirit to worship God, bringing glory to him through serving Him by living sacrificial lives as a response to his love and proclaiming the gospel and his love.

As a body we come together regularly to partake in the breaking of bread.

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and earth.
