Renew Church is based in Uttoxeter, the market town of Staffordshire in the heart of England.
We believe church should be a place where people passionately worship God, where the Bible is preached and where all are made welcome.
Uttoxeter is a beautiful town with about 12,000 residents and it is our aim to reach every one of them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We live in a nation that has slowly turned its back on religion and church, but we believe the future is bright for Renew Church as people encounter God and experience his presence in a very real way.
We hold regular life groups, prayer meetings, Bible studies, a thriving kids and youth programme and services that will suit everyone – so have a browse and see what’s for you. We’d love to see you some time!
‘Love God, love people’ is our simple motto. Why not join us and help us impact this town?
We desire for all people to glorify God through knowing Jesus as personal Lord and Saviour, becoming like him and making him known.
We aim to do this by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit through communicating and teaching the truths of the Bible, demonstrating God’s love, relational discipleship-making and leadership development.
Join us at Renew Church every Sunday for services at 9:30am and 11am. The services are family orientated with lively worship and relevant teaching.
Children’s Church will be streamed at 9am on both Facebook and Youtube to follow social distancing procedures.
The 11am service is also live streamed on our Facebook and Youtube pages. Search for Renew Church Uttoxeter to find us!
Matthew and Becky Murray made Staffordshire their home and became the leaders of Renew Church in 2015. They carry a heart for people, God’s presence and mission. The Murrays are also the directors of mission organisation One By One, which reaches 10,000 children per week in Kenya and also runs King’s Children’s Homes with bases in Kenya and Pakistan. Although both Matthew and Becky have an extensive travelling ministry, they have a strong heart for the UK church, believing God for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit in Staffordshire and beyond. The couple have one son, Josiah, who was born in 2011.
